About the role
As a Field Service Technician – Power Generation, you'll play an important role in designing, maintaining and supporting the energy solutions industries depend on.
Based in Karratha, you'll work across regional customer sites, providing servicing, fault finding, repairs and technical support on power generation equipment. Working alongside experienced technicians and specialists, you'll develop your skills in advanced power generation technology while delivering reliable solutions for customers across a range of industries.
This is an opportunity to build your technical capability while working with advanced equipment, evolving technologies and some of the most experienced professionals in the industry.
Key responsibilities include:
• Performing servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding on power generation equipment in the field
• Providing technical support to customers across regional Western Australia
• Utilising remote engine monitoring systems to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
• Maintaining accurate service records and adhering to safe work practices
• Participating in an on-call roster and responding to customer breakdowns and service requirements
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who brings both capability and a collaborative mindset.
Required:
• Mechanical trade qualification
• Current Australian driver's licence
• Proven computer literacy skills
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving and diagnostic capability
• High-level organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and manage regional travel requirements
Highly regarded:
• Power generation experience
• Previous field service experience
• Exposure to remote monitoring and diagnostic systems
