About the role
As a Technical Sales Consultant – Power Solutions, you will work closely with customers to understand their operational challenges, identify opportunities and deliver power generation and integrated energy solutions that support their operations and long-term success.
Drawing on your technical expertise and commercial insight, you'll help customers navigate complex energy requirements while connecting them with the products, services and engineering capability that deliver real value.
Partnering across sales, engineering, project delivery and service teams, you'll play an important role in developing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities and delivering solutions that keep industries moving and communities powered.
This is a field-based role covering NSW and ACT, based in Eastern Creek with responsibility for growing existing customer relationships while developing new business opportunities across a high-potential territory.
Key responsibilities include:
Build and grow relationships with existing customers across NSW and ACT.
Identify and convert new business opportunities across a range of industries and market sectors.
Provide technical consultation and solution recommendations aligned to customer requirements.
Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Manage sales opportunities and customer engagement through CRM systems while achieving growth targets.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who brings both commercial capability and a collaborative mindset.
Required:
Proven experience in account management, technical sales or B2B business development.
Strong understanding of industrial products, power generation equipment or related technical solutions.
Ability to build trusted relationships and influence key decision-makers.
Experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering commercial outcomes.
Current Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel throughout NSW and ACT.
Highly regarded:
Experience within the power generation, energy, industrial, mining or heavy equipment sectors.
Electrical trade background, technical qualifications or generator experience.
Experience selling complex or engineered solutions rather than commodity products.
