About the role
As a Business Development Manager – Rental Solutions (West), you will work closely with customers to understand their challenges, identify opportunities and deliver large-scale rental power generation, temperature control and compressed air solutions that support their operations and long-term success.
Drawing on your commercial insight, technical expertise and industry relationships, you'll help customers navigate complex project requirements while connecting them with the solutions, equipment and support services that deliver real value.
Partnering across sales, engineering, operations and project teams, you'll play an important role in growing EPSA's Rental Solutions presence across South Australia & Northern Territory while securing major projects and developing long-term strategic customer partnerships. This role can be based in Adelaide or Melbourne.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify, develop and secure major rental opportunities across Western Australia.
Build and grow strategic relationships with key mining, industrial and energy customers.
Develop and execute account plans that increase market share, revenue and long-term customer value.
Lead complex proposals, tenders and contract negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline, monitor market trends and identify new opportunities for growth.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who brings both commercial capability and a collaborative mindset.
Required:
Proven success in business development, strategic sales or key account management within mining, power generation, industrial or related sectors.
Strong mining industry experience with established customer networks across Western Australia.
Technical knowledge of power generation, compressors, temperature control, electrical, mechanical or related equipment solutions.
Demonstrated experience developing, influencing and winning major projects, tenders and complex customer opportunities.
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Highly regarded:
Experience within the rental equipment, power generation or temporary infrastructure sectors.
Experience managing strategic customer portfolios and long-term account growth plans.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms to manage pipeline activity, forecasting and customer engagement.
