About the role
As a Data Centre Account Manager, you will work closely with data centre owners, operators, consultants, EPCs and other key industry stakeholders to build trusted relationships, strengthen EPSA's market presence and provide valuable insights into one of Australia's fastest-growing sectors.
Drawing on your technical understanding, industry curiosity and relationship-building skills, you'll become a key connection point between the data centre market and EPSA. You'll maintain visibility across emerging opportunities, industry movements and customer priorities, helping ensure we remain engaged with the right stakeholders at the right time.
Partnering across sales, engineering, project delivery, bid and service teams, you'll play an important role in supporting customer engagement, strengthening industry relationships and providing market intelligence that informs future opportunities. The role can be based in Sydney (Eastern Creek branch) and Melbourne (Mulgrave HQ)
Key responsibilities include:
Build and maintain strong relationships with data centre operators, consultants, EPCs, packagers and other key stakeholders across Australia.
Develop a deep understanding of the data centre market, identifying emerging projects, industry trends and customer priorities.
Maintain accurate account mapping and opportunity visibility within Salesforce, ensuring a clear view of key stakeholders and market activity.
Represent EPSA at industry events, customer engagements and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and industry connections.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide customer insights, market intelligence and relationship support throughout the project lifecycle.
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who brings both technical capability and a collaborative mindset.
Required
Experience in account management, customer success, technical account management, industry engagement or relationship-focused roles.
Strong ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience gathering, analysing and communicating market intelligence or customer insights.
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
High attention to detail and experience maintaining accurate CRM records and customer information.
Highly regarded
Experience within the data centre, critical infrastructure, power generation, engineering, construction or mission-critical industries.
Understanding of data centre design, construction or operational environments.
Engineering, technical, business or related tertiary qualifications.
Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Existing relationships within the Australian data centre industry.
